In an intimate chat with E! News, sports broadcaster Erin Andrews revealed she’s contemplating expanding her family — just 15 months after welcoming her first child, Mack, with husband Jarret Stoll.

At 46, Andrews reflects on the emotional rollercoaster she faced during her journey to motherhood. The couple, who welcomed their son via surrogate in July 2023, experienced significant hurdles along the way, including the heartbreaking loss of two embryos.

Andrews candidly shared her feelings about the prospect of trying for another child. “We’re talking about trying it again,” she expressed. “I just said, ‘We’ve had so much high with the birth of Mack and how great he’s doing that I don’t want to go back to that place of failure again, and I’m really, really afraid of it.’”

The emotional toll of her fertility struggles was profound. Andrews spoke about how the mere thought of revisiting those discussions with her fertility doctor brings back memories of anxiety and loss. “It’s crazy, because once you get back on the phone with your fertility doctor and you start talking about the journey again, PTSD all comes back,” she explained.

Support from her husband, former NHL player Jarret Stoll, has been crucial throughout this journey. Andrews noted that Stoll, 42, also grappled with his feelings during their challenges. “Sometimes men don’t want to talk about this stuff, but they’re also feeling the feels, too,” she said. “My husband was really, really great after we were going through more lows than highs, just being like, ‘This sucks. This just isn’t great. I feel really crappy, and I feel like a failure.’”

In addition to her family aspirations, Andrews recently made waves in the sports world by calling out New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers for skipping a postgame interview. During the Jets’ impressive 24-3 victory over the New England Patriots, Rodgers opted for a brief sideline chat instead of joining the postgame panel, prompting Andrews to express her disappointment on her "Calm Down" podcast. “I’d rather it have been up there on the desk,” she remarked. “I didn’t love it.”
