Hudson Takes the Field
NFL legend Bill Belichick continued his book promotion tour with a stop on Good Morning America Friday, where he opened up about an unlikely source of support: his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson.
The former New England Patriots coach, known for his reserved public demeanor, offered rare insight into how Hudson has impacted his life — particularly behind the scenes. "She’s been through the whole process. She’s been very helpful to me. She does the business things that don’t relate to North Carolina that come up in my life so I can concentrate in football, and that’s what I want to do," Belichick told Michael Strahan.
Strahan, who famously defeated Belichick’s Patriots in Super Bowl XLII with the 2007 Giants, noted on-air that Hudson was not present in the studio — a pointed contrast to her recent interruption of Belichick’s taped CBS News interview. During that appearance, Hudson reportedly stepped in multiple times to object to personal questions, at one point even walking off set and causing a delay in filming.
Though Belichick didn’t dive too deep into the controversy, he addressed it in a later statement, saying he was “surprised” by the CBS interview’s direction and accused the network of creating a “false narrative” through “selectively edited clips.”
During his GMA sit-down, he kept the tone light, joking about his struggle with yoga — a nod to a viral beach video featuring the couple — and downplayed attempts to dig into their personal relationship. Still, when asked if he was happy, Belichick offered a simple, but telling, “Yeah.”
