Wahlberg’s Florida Power Move
Mark Wahlberg is the latest Hollywood heavyweight to trade palm trees for palms — the kind you find in Florida’s high-end enclaves. The actor has officially purchased Palazzo di Lago, a lavish 26,000-square-foot mansion in Stone Creek Ranch, better known as “Billionaires Row,” near Delray Beach.
The $37 million property, complete with furnishings, offers 17,797 square feet of interior living space and an array of luxury features — from a private tennis court and car gallery to a saltwater lagoon pool and a wellness wing. It’s the kind of setup that proves Wahlberg’s transition from movie star to mogul is complete.
Wahlberg’s move continues the celebrity migration from Hollywood to the Sunshine State, joining the likes of Sylvester Stallone, Sydney Sweeney, and former President Donald Trump. Florida’s appeal, say experts, goes beyond the year-round sunshine.
Real estate broker Darren Weiner noted that the state “offers something for everyone,” citing Florida’s mix of tax perks, ocean views, and privacy options from Miami’s buzz to Wellington’s equestrian calm.
“Palm Beach has always been the uber wealthy’s winter retreat, but it has now become home to many more billionaires and celebrities,” Weiner said.
Wahlberg, who previously moved his family from Los Angeles to Las Vegas in 2022, now joins a growing list of stars redefining where fame resides. With its business-friendly policies and tropical lifestyle, Florida seems to be the new frontier for Hollywood’s elite — a place where luxury meets low taxes and privacy still has a view.
