Apple Spills on One-Time Filler
Apple Martin is speaking candidly about a beauty rumor that has followed her as her public profile continues to grow.
In a Vogue video titled “Stressed Out College Student,” published Thursday, February 12, the 21-year-old model addressed speculation surrounding her lips, revealing she has tried filler—but only once.
“Time to come clean — I got lip filler one time,” Apple said in the clip, explaining that she felt the result looked too big and clarifying that ongoing assumptions about frequent cosmetic enhancements are unfounded.
Apple is the daughter of Academy Award winner Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin, frontman of Coldplay. The former couple, who announced their widely discussed “conscious uncoupling” in 2014 after 13 years of marriage, finalized their divorce in 2016. They also share son Moses Martin, 19, and have consistently emphasized maintaining a supportive co-parenting dynamic in the years since.
Having grown up in the spotlight, Apple is now beginning to carve out her own lane in fashion. In September 2025, she secured her first major campaign with London-based label Self-Portrait, founded by designer Han Chong, stepping into the role of the brand’s new “Miss Self-Portrait.” The announcement positioned her as a fresh face for the contemporary label, with campaign images highlighting her soft glam look — including the glossy lips that have drawn online commentary.
As the industry continues to spotlight next-generation talent such as Lily-Rose Depp and Kaia Gerber, Apple’s trajectory reflects a broader shift toward celebrity offspring establishing independent careers while navigating heightened scrutiny.
For Apple Martin, what began as a brief cosmetic experiment has evolved into a moment of transparency — underscoring her effort to define her image on her own terms, beyond her famous surname.
