Gunfire at Rihanna’s Home

A frightening incident unfolded outside Rihanna’s Beverly Hills residence on Sunday, March 8, when a suspect allegedly fired multiple rounds toward the property while the global superstar was reportedly inside.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) cited by the Los Angeles Times, a woman fired from inside a vehicle parked across the street from the gated home at approximately 1:21 p.m. Authorities confirmed that at least one bullet penetrated a wall of the residence. No injuries were reported.

Investigators said the suspect — described as a 30-year-old woman — allegedly fired about ten shots from a white Tesla before fleeing the area. Officers later located the vehicle and followed it to a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where the woman was taken into custody.

Additional dispatch details reported by the outlet described the suspect as having braided hair and wearing a cream-colored blouse. The vehicle was also reportedly identified by dirt along its lower panels.

Law enforcement sources later indicated that an AR-15–style rifle may have been involved. The LAPD’s elite Robbery-Homicide Division is now overseeing the investigation, and further details about the suspect’s booking allegations were expected to be released Monday, March 9.

It remains unclear who else may have been at the home during the incident, including Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky and their children — sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, 5 months.

The alarming event comes during a busy chapter for the singer-entrepreneur, who in recent years has expanded her influence beyond music through ventures such as Fenty Beauty and her Savage X Fenty fashion line, while continuing to command global attention as one of pop music’s most recognizable figures.
