Hudson Williams’ Red-Carpet Reveal
Breakout Heated Rivalry star Hudson Williams made a stylish statement at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday, March 15, arriving with his longtime girlfriend Katelyn Larson for their first red-carpet appearance together.
The 25-year-old actor attended the annual post-Oscars celebration at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, wearing a bold sheer sleeveless black top that revealed his torso, paired with black trousers and a dramatic trailing scarf. Larson complemented the look in a midriff-baring black lace outfit as the couple posed arm-in-arm for photographers.
Also on the carpet was Williams’ Heated Rivalry costar Connor Storrie, 26, who opted for a similarly sheer top. The pair reunited for photos, reflecting the chemistry that helped propel the series into one of last year’s most talked-about streaming hits.
Premiering in November 2025 on Crave and HBO Max, Heated Rivalry is based on Rachel Reid’s Game Changers novels and follows rival professional hockey players Shane Hollander (Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Storrie) as their relationship evolves from competition to romance. The show quickly generated a passionate online fanbase and turned its leads into global breakout stars.
Williams has largely kept his personal life private since the series launched, though he shared a rare glimpse of Larson on Valentine’s Day earlier this year, writing on Instagram Stories, “With me since my 2000 gold Mazda protege smoked and squealed and I had no job.”
The actor’s rapid rise has also brought scrutiny online. Earlier this month, Williams and fellow cast member François Arnaud issued a joint statement calling out toxic fan behavior on social media.
Still, the show’s success reflects a growing mainstream appetite for queer romance stories — a trend also seen in the popularity of contemporary authors such as Casey McQuiston.
