Career

Peter Babej is Chief Executive Officer of Citi Asia Pacific, responsible for the firm's operations across the region. Peter is a member of Citi's Executive Management Team and the Board of the Citi Foundation.

Previously, Peter served as Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group. Under his leadership, Citi attained a leading position in the sector and participated in numerous landmark transactions globally.

Previously, Peter served in senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Lazard, where he advised financial institutions across North America, Europe and Asia.

Education

Peter holds a B.A. (summa cum laude) from the School of Public and International Affairs of Princeton, and a J.D. and Ph.D from Harvard University. He is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations.
