Duties:

Betterment for Business is an award winning 401(k) solution that works as hard for your money as you work to earn it. We are seeking an ambitious Account Executive to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling and leading the sales process from start to finish. You are a tech-savvy seller earlier in their career who is passionate about working with decision-makers to add a retirement offering to their employee benefits. This position will be based in NYC, reporting to the Head of Sales and focused on generating new business from companies who are setting up their first 401(k) plan, representing Betterment for Business 401k’s solutions.

A Day in the Life:

  • Follow-up with inbound leads to try and acquire new customers for Betterment
  • Support our self-service acquisition channel for those prospects who need a bit more attention
  • Conduct discovery and online demonstration calls
  • Support small business owners with setting their employees up for success with their retirement plans
  • Meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Ensure effective and consistent use of Salesforce
  • Provide “voice of the client and industry” to marketing and product management to drive roadmaps

What Happens Next?

On average, it takes us around 4-6 weeks to complete the interview process. As a best practice, we aim to interview at least 3 final round candidates before making a hiring decision.
